UCP’s Got Talent!
Information for participation in competition

East Central Alabama United Cerebral Palsy is holding a talent competition on Tuesday, June 17th at 7:00 p.m., at Word Alive International Outreach Center, located at 122 Allendale Road in Coldwater.

If you are interested in participating in UCP’s Got Talent, you must pre-register by JUNE 10TH, 2008. There is a $20 entry fee with each registration. Click here to download a printable registration form and mail it to:

You may also pick up an entry form at the Cerebral Palsy Center, located at 301 E. A. Darden Dr. (on the hill next to the Health Department, right off McClellan Blvd.) or at the front desk at Word Alive. Entry fee must be paid to United Cerebral Palsy, either by mail or in person.

Please include your $20 entry fee with your registration form when mailing. Upon receipt of your registration form and entry fee, you will be contacted by phone to confirm your place in the show. You can call 256-343-6646 if you have questions. Someone will get back with you as soon as possible. You may also send questions to shannon@ecaucp.org and please put “UCP’s Got Talent” in the subject line.

We encourage you to invite friends, co-workers, classmates, and family to this event……we will be taking donations at the door for United Cerebral Palsy. All proceeds from the show, including contestant entry fees, will go to programs that serve children and adults with disabilities at the Cerebral Palsy Center in Anniston.

The show will be filmed and broadcast on Cable One Channel 53 during the months of June and July.

The top eight winners from this show will be invited to participate in the UCP Talent Showcase at the Quintard Mall on Saturday, August 2nd, and will have a chance to appear on the 50th Annual UCP Telethon on Sunday, August 3rd.

This is your chance to become a local celebrity! If you can sing, dance, play an instrument, etc., we want you to come out and be a part of this fun and exciting event!

Don’t forget, deadline for entry is June 10th, and entry fee is $20.
